Kids Need Our Help More Than Ever
Since 1984 our Clothes for Kids program has helped over 100,000 local school children and their families by buying new school clothes. Times haven’t gotten any easier.
In September, October and November of 2026, we will host 30 shopping trips at local JC Penney’s, Target and Walmart stores for over 3,000 local students. We also help elementary and middle school school counselors shop to fill their emergency clothes closets with clothes and hygiene items. Watch our 30-second Clothes for Kids overview.
Your tax-deductible contribution will help the most vulnerable local students.
Clothes for Kids is the largest of The 1701 Group’s 11 philanthropic programs. We also support our local veterans, provide food for deserving seniors, help homeless high school students graduate and go on for further education, provide scholarships for older students to return to school and study for their dream occupation, and much more.
Our all-volunteer organization is ready to get to work. Won’t you help? Thank you for your generosity! The 1701 Group is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. Tax ID# 88-0139673.
